Our factory receives various repair requests all the time. Maintenance means to fix problems. When the ships return after navigation, fuel is terribly stuck on diesel engine injectors, both inside and outside the PF (large-sized) pump. The hardest part is to "wash" these pumps one by one. When I was young, my job was always washing them throughout the year. After cleaning them, we can finally measure them precisely to see if they should be repaired or not. It is easy just to dismantle and assemble them. The difficult part is to determine how to repair the problems. Our significance of existence as a repair and maintenance factory, we will repair anything. We are working with a strong passion to repair anything.
Quality control with ISO9001 requirements
When maintaining the PF (large-sized) pump, the most diffiicult part is measurement. Pistons should be measured in 0.001 milimeters, as gap values cannot be obtained unless the outside and inside values are precisely measured. As there are also regulations for such values, we have to report to our clients when the values exceed the specified values, and ask them if they want new parts. As these parts are expensive and cost several thousand dollors a piece, we are required to ask the clients for their decision. The Onomichi Factory has obtained ISO9001 certification, with which we can manage and record various trouble repairs compliant to the international quality assurances, and accumulate them to avoid the same troubles from happening again. It is also important for us to burn the memories of fixing defects in our heads, as it is our responsibility as experts to hand down these memories to younger generation.
No delay in the departure time of the ships
Our factory will maintain even what engine manufacturers would not do. We overhaul, inspect, and repair to the finest parts. For example, we will remanufacture even the parts that manufacturers would replace in compliance to their standard, which will reduce the costs. Also, we will accept even maintenance which seems impossible as the delivery period is too short, and will make impossible into possible. We will make it somehow, by force, and by all possible means. TOKYO NOZZLE has two factories; Misaki Factory as the HQ, and our Onomichi Factory. Each factory makes its best efforts for the clients, well prepare to complete each job, by cooperating with each other. We maintain ship engines. As each ship has a determined departure time, they cannot be late due to the delay of our maintenance. It is why we must make any impossible into possible.
