Machining process differs every time
All engines are different, so are all parts. All sizes are different, of course, so are the ways of being used and the numbers of years in use. All engines to be serviced will have different conditions. We pay the closest attention to the measurements in the finishing process. Even when we perfectly maintain the diesel engine injectors received from the clients, it is not the end, but rather a start. Even when we think it is 100% serviced, we will never know the result until it is actually installed in the ship. When being installed, one screw's degree of tightness can vary the motion of the engine. As the engines we maintain are alive, the machining process we carry out differs every time, which is the difficult part.
Responsibility of creating TOKYO NOZZLE's original parts
What we process and produce are the one and only. Our maintenance work is not just ordering each manufacturer's original parts to assemble them. We are proud of having responsibility of creating TOKYO NOZZLE's original parts. We consider which material has tolerance and last long, and how we can reduce costs as much as possible. As there are no drawings for the injectors from the clients, our first job is to measure everything by ourselves. We also make original tools necessary for the process. We can maintain any part, including ones we have never seen before, unless they are microscopic. We are confident in plunger's lead processing which is a precision part, spiral processing, and difficult processings such as joggling. Our factory is equipped with all manner of machining tools and equipment to carry out these processes.
Do what other companies cannot do
Recently, probably due to more ship accidents, regulations for engine parts are getting more strict. Therefore, demands of the clients for maintenance quality are also getting higher. We have more things to learn, and there is no end in the search for better quality maintenance service. We examine for ourselves or ask each other at the factory. Putting our heads together, we accept manufacturing or maintenance of the parts other companies refused. We feel happy when our clients find the significance of the existence of TOKYO NOZZLE.
